Novus Insurance Brokers is a wholesale marine insurance brokerage specializing in the placement of ocean marine cargo insurance for clients of insurance brokers throuhout the United States.
Novus Insurance Brokers allows all Insurance brokers to register and start insuring their clients cargo insurance shipments even if they are not a surplus lines broker, as long as they are licensed in their respective state to sell property and casualty Insurance.
Once you register, and email us a copy of your license, and sign our sub-agent agreeemnt, we will assign you as a agent and you will recieve a user ID and password and you will be able to insure your clients shipments, with the knowledge that your client is getting A+ coverage.
Please note that Novus Insurance Brokers will allow you to bill your client and once a month you will recieve a statement of the shipments insured, and payment can be made by either credit card and or check.
Naturally, every client is different, and we will need to work with you in developing the rates and terms for each client. Once the rates are agreed, they will be incorporated into the program.
